Völkl Race Lab Splitbase
VRL is the short form for Völkl Race Laboratory. Darren Powell reached speeds of more than 202 km/h on a Völkl Renntiger snowboard a few years ago! Our renowned race laboratory knows how to create the fastest snowboards around, that's why our VRL board bases are not readymade. We know that a base composite made from the best materials is the secret behind the fastest and easiest to maintain bases. What's in there? As mentioned above, this is our secret… We will tell you one thing: the extraordinarily abrasion-resistant side strips are made of P-Tex 20188.
